It is training for everyone who works with factors with the risk of a fire occurring at temporary workplaces.
Yes, the insurance companies believe that the Brandfarliga Arbeten training meets the requirements set out in insurance terms and conditions. Anyone who has been trained and approved and holds a valid certificate is authorised to perform temporary fire hazard work.
Yes There are similar courses, but different training organisers and the purposes are the same. Anyone who has completed Brandfarliga Arbeten training with approved results and holds a valid certificate has the authority to carry out temporary fire hazard work in accordance with the insurance companies’ requirements.
The participant must attend a one-day training course and complete a certification test with approved results. The certificate consists of a plastic card or the participant can be searched for in the database which is displayed when fire hazard work is to be performed.
There must be an organisation consisting of a licence manager, a contractor and possibly a fire guard. Everyone must have completed the training within the concept of Brandfarliga Arbeten or the Fire Protection Association’s Hot Work training and hold a valid certificate.
Yes, a licensee can approve the contractor and the fire guard if he/she has completed Hot Work training and holds a valid certificate.
When you have completed the instructor training with approved results, you are qualified to provide training in Brandfarliga Arbeten. Every year, quality assurance measures are carried out in the form of on-line training that you must pass. You must complete at least two courses per year to continue training people in Brandfarliga Arbeten.
The certificate is valid for 5 years after approved training.
After approved instructor training, you are qualified to provide training for as long as you pass the annual quality assurance in the form of e-learning.
